Listed below are several books that have changed my mind.
I want to share them with you.

One book that changed my life was "The Spiral Dance" by Starhawk.

The year was 1988, I had just made some major changes in my life.
During this time, I was taking a philosophy of religion
class. Having been raised your basic Christian, I was nonetheless
uncomfortable with the doctrine I had been fed. I wanted an approach
to spirituality with which I was comfortable.

In my background, God was the Big Guy in the sky
who would throw a whopper of lightening bolt your
way, should you screw up. And women were the source of evil
on earth...don't forget, 'twas Eve who lured Adam
to that fateful apple.

I fought with my own belief system, looking for a
way to believe...trying to define the way I believed...
then a friend lent me a copy of "The Spiral Dance."

Suddenly, there was divinity in the feminine.
Guilt was a not a part of this path. Love of life
was not a sin

This is definitely a book I would recommend to all those
searching for answers or curious about other spiritual
paths.

Another book that I consider essential reading for any aspiring witch is Drawing Down the Moon by Margot Adler.
This is a big one, so be prepared to bite into a loaf instead of a slice.
